About

DEZOMO’s objective is to provide brand and design news and information to creatives and accounts people working in either agency or client side. This means that stories from trade publications and newspapers will sit beside stories from creative magazines published in print or online, from all over the world.

Why? Because we believe that regardless as to where you work on the branding spectrum, it is important to know how your colleagues and clients think. None of us have the time to wade through the office subscriptions or, for that matter, the energy to fight for the single copy of a particular title that we all know is conveniently sitting on someone’s coffee table at home.

Through DEZOMO we want to provide the Australian industry specifically – (yet hopefully my objective resonates beyond), with the opportunity to have an informed creative business voice, and help to break down the divide between the creative and marketing departments. A mutual respect and understanding of each other’s roles, and how we each think and process information is imperative to the business of design and branding, and our work relationships.

This is my first Blog so reader feedback is welcomed, well, needed actually. So, tell me what you think about the idea behind it, and in the meantime I better get cracking so you can see what it is I’m actually trying to do here.
